The Liar Society

Today is a special day.

Two of the very first people I "met" on the blogosphere were Lisa and Laura Roecker. Based on the first post of theirs I read, I could tell they were hilarious, smart, and hugely talented writers. I remember being a little bit star-struck when they first commented on my blog. Then when that tiny picture of them popped up in the Followers box. Then, again, when I fangirled them via email and holyOscars! THEY REPLIED. They also shared my love of Twizzlers, which helped.

Today, their debut novel, THE LIAR SOCIETY, hits shelves, and I am giddy with excitement! We're supposed to be having a snowstorm over here this morning, but The Weather and I have had words and we've decided to reschedule Said Snowstorm, as I intend to make a very important trip to the bookstore to pick up my very own, real life copy of THE LIAR SOCIETY.

As it turns out, I am not the only one dying to get my hands on THE LIAR SOCIETY:

Yup, literally dying for THE LIAR SOCIETY.
P.S. OrRyanGosling requests that you please not look too closely at his neck region. IT IS LIKE THE SUN. That, and he has a, er, neck condition.

There could only be one winner.
Never bet against The Depp.
P.P. S Never fear. OrRyanGosling (and Orlando Bloom!) lives. However, poor OrRyanGosling now has an eye condition. It causes his eyes to, you know, water without ceasing. He'd like me to stress the fact that he is not crying. Just dealing with his unfortunate eye condition and waiting his turn to read THE LIAR SOCIETY.

Congratulations and HAPPY RELEASE DAY, Lisa and Laura!

Great post in support of the girls. Love them. They were the biggest sweethearts--snark and all--when they shared their story on my blog. My copy of The Liar Society is in the mail. Should receive it today. Yay!

Hahahaha poor OrRyan Gosling and his conditions! And I feel the same way--LiLa were some of the first writers I met in the blogosphere and in real life too!

I'm pretty sure LiLa is the reason I found you on the blogosphere!

I'm so glad nothing happened to Orlando!

I'm so insanely excited for LiLa. I found you through them too. THINK OF WHAT YOUR LIFE WOULD BE LIKE IF THAT HADNT HAPPENED????

Wait...don't think about that. It might seem too pleasant. :)

I'm so glad you brought out the full cast to cheer on The Liar Society. A book launch with The Depp is as good as it gets. Yay, LiLa!

About Me

My Photo
I read, I write, I watch too much reality TV. I sing in the shower and in the car. I like things that make me cry and things that make me laugh. I imagine in a past life I was a world-class athlete, a saint, or at least a little taller. And now, I blog. I'm repped by Suzie Townsend at Nancy Coffey Literary. My debut YA novel, ALL THESE LIVES, will be published by FSG/Macmillan in June 2012.
